Notions de base
Il est important que vous suiviez et compreniez ce qui est prévu par le guide de TRaSH :
- Ajouter des Formats Personnalisés, comme expliqué dans How to import Custom Formats (anglais seulement).
- Configurer un Profil de Qualité pour utiliser les Formats Personnalisés, comme expliqué dans How to setup Quality Profiles | Basics section (anglais seulement).
Veuillez lire ces deux sections avant de continuer le guide, car elles contiennent des informations importantes. Le reste de ce guide part du principe que vous l'avez fait.

FAQ
Je ne suis pas Français de France mais du Canada, est-ce que le guide fonctionne toujours ?
Oui, le guide s'adapte à tous les types de français : VFF, VFQ et VFB (même si ce dernier est assez rare). Assurez-vous simplement de vérifier le scoring dans la section Versions Audio Françaises section.
Je suis seulement intéressé par les sous-titres français (VOSTFR)
Veuillez suivre le profil Original avec sous-titres (VOSTFR).
Puis-je obtenir des HDLight ou 4KLight ?
Pas vraiment, ce guide n'est pas prévu pour cela. Toutefois, si l'espace disque est un problème pour vous, préférez les versions Web-DL ou les releases Blu-ray 720p.

Paramètres spécifiques à Prowlarr
Indexers - Remplacer MULTi par une autre langue dans le nom de la release (Replace MULTi by another language in release name)
Prowlarr permet de remplacer MULTi par une autre langue. Cette option semble excellente mais entraînera des faux positifs concernant les CF audio français. Veuillez préférer l'utilisation de l'option "Indexeurs - Option Multi Langues" dans Radarr (voir ci-dessous).
Indexers - Remplacer VOSTFR et SUBFRENCH par ENGLISH (Replace VOSTFR and SUBFRENCH with ENGLISH)
Cette option ne devrait pas être utilisée, principalement parce que vous perdez des informations concernant la release.
De plus, VOSTFR ne signifie pas que l'audio est en Anglais mais plutôt qu'il s'agit de l'audio Original, ce qui peut correspondre à de l'Espagnol, du Coréen, etc.
Indexers - Remplacer VFQ par FRENCH (Replace VFQ with FRENCH)
Comme pour l'option MULTi, cela entraînera des faux positifs concernant les CF audio français. Gardez-la désactivée.

Paramètres spécifiques à Radarr
Media Management - Format Standard du Film et Format du Dossier du Film (Standard Movie Format and Movie Folder Format)
Veuillez consulter ceci : Recommended naming scheme (anglais seulement).
Format du film/dossier avec le nom du film en français
Radarr supporte la convention de nommage ISO-2 pour nommer un film, donc en remplaçant {Movie CleanTitle} par {Movie CleanTitle:fr}, cela changera le nom pour sa version française.
Indexers - Multi Languages option
Dans Radarr, vous pouvez indiquer que MULTi pour un indexeur signifie qu'une release possède au moins certains audios. Pour les besoins de ce guide, vous sélectionnerez Original et French.
Cette option ne devrait être utilisée que pour les indexeurs français. L'appliquer sur des indexeurs plus "internationaux" peut créer des faux positifs avec les CF audio français.
Si vous ne voyez pas l'option, pensez à activer les "Options Avancées" de Radarr.

Pour le profil VOSTFR, il est recommandé de configurer Bazarr
Pour ce faire, suivez le Bazarr Setup Guide (anglais seulement). Bazarr vous aidera à obtenir des sous-titres Français lorsque aucune release VOSTFR n'est disponible.
Versions Audio Françaises
Cette section est optionnelle et est uniquement là pour renommer votre release ou pour éviter d'obtenir un certain type d'audio français. Exemples :
- Vous préférez avoir à la fois la VFF et la VFQ, connues sous le nom de VF2 ; dans ce cas, vous attribuerez un score de
101à VF2 et laisserez les autres à0(par défaut). - Vous préférez la VFF à la VFQ ; dans ce cas, vous attribuerez un score de
101pour la VFF et la VF2, laisserez VFI à0(par défaut), et mettrez VFQ à-101. - Vous préférez la VFQ à la VFF ; dans ce cas, vous attribuerez un score de
101pour la VFQ et la VF2, laisserez VFI à0(par défaut), et mettrez VFF à-101. - Vous ne voulez absolument pas d'audio VQ ; dans ce cas, vous le mettrez à

Indexeurs
Tous les indexeurs ne signalent pas le type de version française qu'une release possède. Par conséquent, vous pouvez toujours obtenir un audio français non désiré. Attribuer un score à ces Formats Personnalisés peut également créer une boucle ; veuillez lire l'avertissement ci-dessous.
Attention
Il a été prouvé qu'augmenter le score d'un audio à plus de 101 (sauf pour VOSTFR) peut entraîner une boucle de téléchargement, où une release est téléchargée à plusieurs reprises.
Il a aussi été prouvé que diminuer le score d'un audio à moins de -101 (sauf si absolument non désiré comme dans l'exemple) peut également entraîner une boucle de téléchargement.

HD Bluray + WEB (1080p)
Paramètres de base
Assurez-vous de fusionner les qualités Bluray et WEB en un seul groupe dans les qualités de votre Profil de Qualité. Cela est dû au fait que les releases potentielles avec un audio Français peuvent ne pas exister en WEB.
La raison pour laquelle nous n'avons pas sélectionné le WEB-DL 720p est que vous trouverez difficilement des releases qui ne sont pas en 1080p WEB-DL.

The order listed in the profile matters even if a quality is not checked, for example if you have a 1080p version but wanted the SD version, Radarr will reject all SD results because 1080p is listed higher than SD even though 1080p was not checked.
Qualities at the top of the list will appear first in manual searches.

Note: French Scene groups are included as a fallback if you really want their releases despite a potential loss in quality. Either set the CF score to 1500 (default) or 0 depending on what you want to achieve. Not including them may hinder your capacity to get releases with French audio.

Breakdown and Why
- BR-DISK: This is a custom format to help Radarr recognize & ignore BR-DISK (ISO's and Blu-ray folder structure) in addition to the standard BR-DISK quality.
- LQ: A collection of known low-quality groups that are often banned from the top trackers due to their releases' lack of quality or other reasons.
- LQ (Release Title): A collection of terms seen in the titles of low-quality releases that are not captured by using a release group name.
- FR LQ: A collection of known low-quality French groups that are often banned from the top trackers due to their releases' lack of quality or other reasons.

x265 (HD): This blocks 720/1080p (HD) releases that are encoded in x265.
If you have also added x265 (no HDR/DV) to your Radarr,
then one of them should be scored as0in your quality profile. -
3D: Is 3D still a thing for home use?
- Extras: Blocks releases that only contain extras

AV1: This blocks all releases encoded in AV1.
AV1 encodes are currently targeting small file sizes, rather than good visual quality.
- This is a new codec and you need modern devices that support it.
- We also had reports of playback/transcoding issues.
- No main group is actually using it (yet).
- It's better to ignore this new codec to prevent compatibility issues

Breakdown and Why
- The reason why these Custom Formats have a score of
0is because they are mainly used for the naming scheme and other variables should decide for movies if a certain release if preferred. BCore,CRiTandMAare the only ones with a score because of their better source material, or higher bitrate and quality compared to other streaming services.

Breakdown and Why
- Bad Dual Groups: [Optional] These groups take the original release and add their own language track (e.g. AAC 2.0 Portuguese) as the first track. Afterward, FFprobe would determine that the media file is Portuguese. It's a common rule that you only add the best audio as the main track. Also they often even rename the release name into Portuguese.
- EVO (no WEBDL): This group is often banned for low-quality Blu-ray releases, but their WEB-DLs are okay.
- No-RlsGroup: [Optional] Some indexers strip out the release group which could result in LQ groups being scored incorrectly. For example, a lot of EVO releases end up with a stripped group name. These releases would appear as "upgrades" and could end up getting a decent score after other CFs are scored.
- Obfuscated: [Optional] Use these only if you wish to avoid renamed releases.
- Retags: [Optional] Use this if you want to avoid retagged releases. Retagged releases often are not consistent with the quality of the original group's release.
- Scene: [Optional] Use this only if you want to avoid SCENE releases.

IMAX Enhanced: Get More Picture Instead of Black Bars.
IMAX Enhanced exclusive expanded aspect ratio is 1:90:1, which offers up to 26% more picture for select sequences, meaning more of the action is visible on screen.
If you don't prefer IMAX Enhanced then don't add it or use a score of 0
Note: Les Formats Personnalisés Advanced Audio ne sont pas utilisés dans le profil, car les WEB-DL contiennent rarement de l'audio HD (la plupart des nouveaux WEB-DL contiennent cependant de l'Atmos avec perte). Si vous voulez de l'audio HD, nous vous suggérons d'utiliser des Remuxes ou des encodages UHD.
HD Remux (1080p)
Informations concernant les audios HD
Il convient de noter que divers problèmes peuvent survenir avec ce profil si vous utilisez les formats personnalisés de l'audio HD, car :
- Les règles de la Scène française stipulent que l'audio français doit être le premier audio (celui par défaut) dans une version MULTi.
- Les règles stipulent que seul le meilleur son (qu'il soit original ou FR) doit être mentionné dans le titre.
- Certains films (et séries, principalement de l'ère pré-streaming) ne disposent pas d'une piste audio FR équivalente à la piste la plus élevée de l'audio original.
En conséquence, les situations ci-après peuvent être observées :
- La qualité de l'audio dans le titre de la release pourrait ne pas être celle de la version française.
- L'audio français pourrait être de moins bonne qualité que l'audio mentionné dans le titre.
- Radarr n'évalue les fichiers audio pré-importation qu'en fonction du titre de la release. Après l'importation, il se base sur la première piste audio (par défaut) de la release (après ffprobe).
- La note finale de la release peut être inférieure à celle obtenue avant l'importation.
Tip
Pour cette raison, les Formats Personnalisés de Groupes P2P existent ; ils tentent de regrouper les groupes qui ont tendance à fournir les meilleures pistes audio originales et françaises pour une release. Cependant, cette approche n'est pas infaillible et un film peut ne pas avoir une piste audio FR équivalente à la piste la plus élevée de l'audio original.

- BR-DISK: This is a custom format to help Radarr recognize & ignore BR-DISK (ISO's and Blu-ray folder structure) in addition to the standard BR-DISK quality.
- LQ: A collection of known low-quality groups that are often banned from the top trackers due to their releases' lack of quality or other reasons.
- LQ (Release Title): A collection of terms seen in the titles of low-quality releases that are not captured by using a release group name.
- FR LQ: A collection of known low-quality French groups that are often banned from the top trackers due to their releases' lack of quality or other reasons.

x265 (HD): This blocks 720/1080p (HD) releases that are encoded in x265.
If you have also added x265 (no HDR/DV) to your Radarr,

- Passthrough: The preferred method if you have an audio setup (AVR/Soundbar). This mode will send the audio signals without any alteration or processing.
- Direct Play: The client supports the container, video stream, and audio stream natively. The Plex server simply sends the media file as-is to the client. This uses very little CPU power.
- Transcode: The client does not support the video stream and/or the audio stream. The Plex server re-encodes the video, audio, or both into a compatible format. Transcoding video uses a lot of CPU power, but transcoding audio uses little to moderate CPU power.
- Decodes: Decompresses the audio before sending it to your AVR/Soundbar.

Am I losing any quality by using LPCM? - [Click to show/hide]
- No. Since LPCM is a lossless format, using it will result in no loss of quality. What your ears hear will be exactly the same. The only difference is your receiver will recognize the audio stream as PCM instead of Dolby/DTS.
- LPCM will discard object and spatial metadata. (TrueHD Atmos, DTS-X)

If you have chosen a profile that includes Audio Formats, it's somewhat pointless to lower the scores or block certain audio formats since 95% of the Remuxes and UHD Encodes provide HD audio formats such as TrueHD Atmos, TrueHD, and DTS-X.
So you have 2 options.
- Choose another quality profile that doesn't include audio formats such as
HD Bluray + WEBor2160p WEB-DL. - Accept the limitations of your audio setup (AVR/Soundbar) and/or your hardware media player device.

- Bad Dual Groups: [Optional] These groups take the original release and add their own language track (e.g. AAC 2.0 Portuguese) as the first track. Afterward, FFprobe would determine that the media file is Portuguese. It's a common rule that you only add the best audio as the main track. Also they often even rename the release name into Portuguese.
- EVO (no WEBDL): This group is often banned for low-quality Blu-ray releases, but their WEB-DLs are okay.
- No-RlsGroup: [Optional] Some indexers strip out the release group which could result in LQ groups being scored incorrectly. For example, a lot of EVO releases end up with a stripped group name. These releases would appear as "upgrades" and could end up getting a decent score after other CFs are scored.
- Obfuscated: [Optional] Use these only if you wish to avoid renamed releases.
- Retags: [Optional] Use this if you want to avoid retagged releases. Retagged releases often are not consistent with the quality of the original group's release.
- Scene: [Optional] Use this only if you want to avoid SCENE releases.

- L'audio français pourrait être de moins bonne qualité que l'audio mentionné dans le titre.
- Radarr n'évalue les fichiers audio pré-importation qu'en fonction du titre de la release. Après l'importation, il se base sur la première piste audio (par défaut) de la release (après ffprobe).
- La note finale de la release peut être inférieure à celle obtenue avant l'importation.
Tip
Pour cette raison, les Formats Personnalisés de Groupes P2P existent ; ils tentent de regrouper les groupes qui ont tendance à fournir les meilleures pistes audio originales et françaises pour une release. Cependant, cette approche n'est pas infaillible et un film peut ne pas avoir une piste audio FR équivalente à la piste la plus élevée de l'audio original.
Paramètres de base
Assurez-vous de fusionner les qualités Bluray et WEB en un seul groupe dans les qualités de votre Profil de Qualité. Cela est dû au fait que les releases potentielles avec un audio Français peuvent ne pas exister en WEB.

The order listed in the profile matters even if a quality is not checked, for example if you have a 1080p version but wanted the SD version, Radarr will reject all SD results because 1080p is listed higher than SD even though 1080p was not checked.
Qualities at the top of the list will appear first in manual searches.
- Qualities higher in the list are more preferred even if not checked.
- Qualities within the same group are equal.
- Only checked qualities are wanted.
This is why it's recommended to move the selected quality to the top of the list.

Pour cette raison, les Formats Personnalisés de Groupes P2P existent ; ils tentent de regrouper les groupes qui ont tendance à fournir les meilleures pistes audio originales et françaises pour une release. Cependant, cette approche n'est pas infaillible et un film peut ne pas avoir une piste audio FR équivalente à la piste la plus élevée de l'audio original.
Paramètres de base
Assurez-vous de fusionner les qualités Bluray et WEB en un seul groupe dans les qualités de votre Profil de Qualité. Cela est dû au fait que les releases potentielles avec un audio Français peuvent ne pas exister en WEB.

Assurez-vous de ne pas cocher l'option BR-DISK.

The order listed in the profile matters even if a quality is not checked, for example if you have a 1080p version but wanted the SD version, Radarr will reject all SD results because 1080p is listed higher than SD even though 1080p was not checked.
Qualities at the top of the list will appear first in manual searches.
- Qualities higher in the list are more preferred even if not checked.
- Qualities within the same group are equal.
- Only checked qualities are wanted.
This is why it's recommended to move the selected quality to the top of the list.

For this Quality Profile we're going to make use of the following Custom Formats with the scores given in the table.
Attention
All the used scores and combinations of Custom Formats in this Guide are tested to get the desired results while preventing download loops as much as possible.
From experience, most of the time when people change scores or leave out certain CFs that work together - they end up with undesired results.

Breakdown and Why
- BR-DISK: This is a custom format to help Radarr recognize & ignore BR-DISK (ISO's and Blu-ray folder structure) in addition to the standard BR-DISK quality.
- LQ: A collection of known low-quality groups that are often banned from the top trackers due to their releases' lack of quality or other reasons.
- LQ (Release Title): A collection of terms seen in the titles of low-quality releases that are not captured by using a release group name.
- FR LQ: A collection of known low-quality French groups that are often banned from the top trackers due to their releases' lack of quality or other reasons.

x265 (HD): This blocks 720/1080p (HD) releases that are encoded in x265.
If you have also added x265 (no HDR/DV) to your Radarr,
then one of them should be scored as0in your quality profile. -
3D: Is 3D still a thing for home use?
- Extras: Blocks releases that only contain extras

AV1: This blocks all releases encoded in AV1.
AV1 encodes are currently targeting small file sizes, rather than good visual quality.
- This is a new codec and you need modern devices that support it.
- We also had reports of playback/transcoding issues.
- No main group is actually using it (yet).
- It's better to ignore this new codec to prevent compatibility issues

- The reason why these Custom Formats have a score of
0is because they are mainly used for the naming scheme and other variables should decide for movies if a certain release if preferred. BCore,CRiTandMAare the only ones with a score because of their better source material, or higher bitrate and quality compared to other streaming services.

You have a hardware media player device and an audio setup that supports ALL HD Audio (TrueHD, DTS-X, DTS-HD, etc).

You've chosen a profile that includes Audio Formats. You should use all the Audio formats with Remuxes/UHD Encodes.
- You should add ALL the Audio formats - don't leave any of them out!
- Audio transcoding has a low impact on your server. If your server can't handle audio transcoding, consider choosing another quality profile.

- Passthrough: The preferred method if you have an audio setup (AVR/Soundbar). This mode will send the audio signals without any alteration or processing.
- Direct Play: The client supports the container, video stream, and audio stream natively. The Plex server simply sends the media file as-is to the client. This uses very little CPU power.
- Transcode: The client does not support the video stream and/or the audio stream. The Plex server re-encodes the video, audio, or both into a compatible format. Transcoding video uses a lot of CPU power, but transcoding audio uses little to moderate CPU power.
- Decodes: Decompresses the audio before sending it to your AVR/Soundbar.

Am I losing any quality by using LPCM? - [Click to show/hide]
- No. Since LPCM is a lossless format, using it will result in no loss of quality. What your ears hear will be exactly the same. The only difference is your receiver will recognize the audio stream as PCM instead of Dolby/DTS.
- LPCM will discard object and spatial metadata. (TrueHD Atmos, DTS-X)

Should I block certain audio formats because something in my setup doesn't support it? - [Click to show/hide]
If you have chosen a profile that includes Audio Formats, it's somewhat pointless to lower the scores or block certain audio formats since 95% of the Remuxes and UHD Encodes provide HD audio formats such as TrueHD Atmos, TrueHD, and DTS-X.
So you have 2 options.
- Choose another quality profile that doesn't include audio formats such as
HD Bluray + WEBor2160p WEB-DL. - Accept the limitations of your audio setup (AVR/Soundbar) and/or your hardware media player device.

Breakdown and Why
- Bad Dual Groups: [Optional] These groups take the original release and add their own language track (e.g. AAC 2.0 Portuguese) as the first track. Afterward, FFprobe would determine that the media file is Portuguese. It's a common rule that you only add the best audio as the main track. Also they often even rename the release name into Portuguese.
- EVO (no WEBDL): This group is often banned for low-quality Blu-ray releases, but their WEB-DLs are okay.
- No-RlsGroup: [Optional] Some indexers strip out the release group which could result in LQ groups being scored incorrectly. For example, a lot of EVO releases end up with a stripped group name. These releases would appear as "upgrades" and could end up getting a decent score after other CFs are scored.
- Obfuscated: [Optional] Use these only if you wish to avoid renamed releases.
- Retags: [Optional] Use this if you want to avoid retagged releases. Retagged releases often are not consistent with the quality of the original group's release.
- Scene: [Optional] Use this only if you want to avoid SCENE releases.
